APCO Industrial, LLC is a Texas-based manufacturer specializing in hydraulic tubing stripper equipment, oilfield products, machining, welding, fabrication, and repair services.The company was founded by Pat Prichard, whose career spans more than 40 years in engineering, manufacturing, inspection, machining, and oilfield operations.Pat began his career with Bailey Boiler Works, where he spent 21 years in engineering and manufacturing leadership roles. During the final five years of his tenure at Bailey, he also owned and operated Protec Valve and Machine, providing valve repair, heat exchanger repair, precision machining, and field support services to the energy industry.Following Bailey Boiler Works, Pat joined Occidental Petroleum, where he spent 19 years supporting mechanical integrity, pressure equipment reliability, quality assurance, and operations throughout the oil and gas industry.APCO Industrial builds upon a family legacy that extends back more than six decades.In 1967, Carl Prichard was awarded U.S. Patent No. 3,328,040 for an early hydraulic tubing stripper design, helping pioneer technology that would become widely used throughout the oil and gas industry. The Prichard family has remained involved in tubing stripper design, manufacturing, and field application ever since. Carl's stripper designs were manufactured by him for many years, and beginning around 1985 Pat's father AD Prichard began APCO and built hydraulic tubing strippers. That tradition continued through the next generation, with Pat's brother, Steve manufacturing stripper equipment for the industry for many years as well.
